Born on the road, not in a lab
We’re Ruth and Francesco. A couple, two riders and, before anything else, two people who share the same need to feel free. SUDSTAR wasn’t born in some big laboratory or from a group of investors, but from something far simpler: the road. From the miles we rode together and the people we met along the way. And it was out there, travelling, that we kept seeing the same thing: technical gear that made you buy separately the very thing that should be its essence — protection. That’s where the question that became our starting point came from: why should anyone have to choose between kit that looks good and kit that actually protects them?
Protection as standard, without giving up style
That question is where SUDSTAR began: an Italian brand of motorcycle clothing, with Italian design and CE-certified protectors included as standard, at no extra cost. Every motorcycle jacket is built to protect you for real without sacrificing style, thanks to a four-season layering system that adapts to the road rather than the other way round — from heat to rain, from rain to cold — and AURA, our heating system, which exists for one simple reason: the weather shouldn’t decide when you ride. Because for us, innovation isn’t piling on technology to list on a spec sheet; it’s giving you a better way to live the road.
A size — and a piece of kit — for every rider
And we want that to be true for everyone, no exceptions. That’s why we work with inclusive sizing up to 58, for both men and women, with a women’s line — real motorcycle gear for women — made for female riders tired of settling for gear designed only for men. And if your size goes beyond 58, or you’re after a piece with a personal touch, we can help: we make special sizes above 58 and offer customisations on request. Motorcycling is for everyone, and the gear should be too.
City, touring or track: your way of riding
We don’t believe there’s only one way to be a rider. There’s the one who lives for touring, the one chasing the adrenaline of the track, the one crossing the city every morning and the one who waits all week for a weekend ride. Our range is there for all of them, from motorcycle jackets with protection to racing suits. We’re not here to tell you how to live the ride — we’re here to give you what you need to live it your way.
And we do it from the same place as always: beside you, never above you. You don’t have to be a pro racer or have ridden across Europe to belong here; if you love motorcycling, you’re already with us. Before it ever reaches the road, every piece faces a single question — “Would we wear it ourselves?” — and only if the answer is yes does it reach your hands. Because protection isn’t an optional extra: it’s our promise.
We won’t promise you the road will always be easy. What we do promise is to help you face it better prepared. We bring the protection, the technology and the quality; the rest is yours — choose where to go, who to ride with and when to change direction.
